The Founding Vision
Baidyanath originated in 1917 when two visionary brothers Vaidya Pandit Ram Narayan Sharma and Pandit Ram Dayal Joshi, founded Shree Baidyanath Ayurved Bhawan at Baidyanath Dham in Bihar. Their philosophy was profound yet simple:
DeshkiMitti, DeshkiHawa, DeshkaPaani, and DeshkiDawa.
With this conviction, they began preparing authentic Ayurvedic medicines guided by ancient texts such as the Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita and Ashtanga Hridaya. They aimed to make Ayurveda accessible to everyone-not as an alternative, but as a primary way of healthy living.
